Our adventure trips and local outings help us in five areas: physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual.     The best reason for attending:  

    We have plenty to offer on our adventure trips i.e. scenery, good food and outdoor activities but the people who attend and the friendships that are made may be the best reason of all. Come and meet fun, active, friendly, kind, caring, outdoor, adventure enthusiasts with all physical abilities.  Enjoy plenty of delicious, home cooked and healthy meals as well.

    Once the trip has begun, activities for the next day will be discussed. You are encouraged to choose activities that best suits your needs, desires and abilities. It is perfectly acceptable to enjoy a relaxed, slower pace while others are participating in all of the planned activities. 

    Every trip, regardless of the length or location, a full itinerary has been planned, however, that does not mean you have to participate in every activity offered. You'll have time each day to decide what you want to participate in and who may be interested in joining you OR if you would like to enjoy some alone time, that is always a great option as well.

    Healthy, delicious, home-made meals are provided daily with generous portions. Meal preparation is a social time and it allows you to customize your own meals. A delicious assortment of breakfast foods are available to create your own specialized breakfast the way you like. Sack lunches are made in the morning since we may not be back before dinner time. 

    Ground transportation is provided during the entire trip including airport pick up and drop offs.


    Breakfast Buffet:
    Corn Flakes, Hot cereal like oats & cream of wheat, milk, almond milk, fruit, orange juice, eggs, toast, bacon, brown/white sugar, hot chocolate, apple juice.

    Lunches are made in the morning (or the night before) since we may not return to the house until dinner.
    Turkey, ham, cheese, lettuce, spinach, mayo, mustard, pickles, carrot sticks, granola bar, peanut butter, jam, bread, fruit, etc.

    Hearty, Hot, Healthy Home-made Dinners:
    Soup & Salad Dinner: Potato Corn Chowder (bacon on the side), Vegetable Soup (Beef on the side), French Bread, Tossed Green Salad w/ toppings
    Asian Dinner: Hawaiian Haystack: Rice w/ several toppings and sauces. Toppings include: bacon, chicken, meatballs, veggies, mandarin oranges, pineapple, celery, coconut, croutons, Chinese noodles, asian cashew salad. Sauces include: Teriyaki, Yellow & Red Curry, Chicken/Beef Gravy
    Italian Dinner: Lasagna Dinner w/ tossed green salad w/ toppings, Olive Garden Italian dressing, garlic bread
    Mexican Dinner: Taco Soup, Killer Nachos, Enchilada Dish, Tossed Green Salad w/ toppings, Tortilla Chips, Salsa

    Hot Fudge Sundae or Banana Split
    Apple Cobbler w/ Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
    Root Beer Float
    Chocolate Pudding, Rice Pudding, Vanilla Pudding
    S’mores - graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate

    8 AM: Leave SLC
    11 AM: Meet everyone at Fremont Indian SP
    11 AM - 1:30 PM: Lunch, HIKE, movie inside the Visitors Center, explore at Fremont Indian SP
    1:30 PM: Leave Fremont Indian SP and drive south on Hwy 89
    3 PM: Check in at our Elkridge Vacation Home
    3:30 - 5:30 PM: Hike & Explore in Red Canyon or anywhere in the area
    5:30 PM: Dinner served
    6:30 - 9 PM: Games, fire pit outside, star gazing, quiet time, s’mores

    7 - 9 AM: Breakfast, prepare lunch, pack bags, tidy up the house
    9 AM: Check out
    Options include: Stay in the area and continue to hike, explore, etc. or head for home. (4 hr drive from SLC)
