    Hiking, nature photography, looking for wildlife and wildflowers, star gazing, sight seeing, shopping, exploring, swimming, entering caves, geocaching, and learning about the rich history of this area.

    Enjoy the trip the way YOU choose.  Planned activities are held from 8 AM - 10 PM each day. Participate in as much or as little as you like. Choose the type of hike you want or plan to do a portion of the hike rather than the entire hike, if you like. 

    A short meeting is held every evening to discuss the activity options for the following day.

    About our beautiful Vacation Home:

    Bedrooms based on double occupancy.
    If you prefer, find a space in the home to sleep alone, if you like.
    Bring a cot or use one of the provided air mattresses or couches and sleep anywhere.


    Breakfast Buffet:
    Corn Flakes, Hot cereal like oats & cream of wheat, milk, almond milk, fruit, orange juice, eggs, toast, bacon, brown/white sugar, hot chocolate, apple juice.

    Lunches are made in the morning (or the night before) since we may not return to the house until dinner.
    Turkey, ham, cheese, lettuce, spinach, mayo, mustard, pickles, carrot sticks, granola bar, peanut butter, jam, bread, fruit, etc.

    Hearty, Hot, Healthy Home-made Dinners:
    Soup & Salad Dinner: Potato Corn Chowder (bacon on the side), Vegetable Soup (Beef on the side), French Bread, Tossed Green Salad w/ toppings
    Asian Dinner: Hawaiian Haystack: Rice w/ several toppings and sauces. Toppings include: bacon, chicken, meatballs, veggies, mandarin oranges, pineapple, celery, coconut, croutons, Chinese noodles, asian cashew salad. Sauces include: Teriyaki, Yellow & Red Curry, Chicken/Beef Gravy
    Italian Dinner: Lasagna Dinner w/ tossed green salad w/ toppings, Olive Garden Italian dressing, garlic bread
    Mexican Dinner: Taco Soup, Killer Nachos, Enchilada Dish, Tossed Green Salad w/ toppings, Tortilla Chips, Salsa

    Trekking Poles, optional

    Snacks, candy, junk food, etc. (bring your own)   
    Smart Wool Socks
    Hiking Shoes
    40 Ziplock Bags (20 sandwich and 20 quart size) (used for sandwiches, chopped ingredients for upcoming meals or left overs from a meal). 
    4 Grocery Bags or more. Used for carrying muddy, wet shoes in cars or for dirty clothes.
    Layered clothing for warmth - some hiking is at 10,000 ft.
    More accurate weather conditions will be known within 7 days of the trip.

    11 AM: Meet everyone at Fremont Indian SP
    11 AM - 1:30 PM: Lunch, HIKE, movie inside the Visitors Center, explore at Fremont Indian SP
    1:30 PM: Leave Fremont Indian SP and drive south on Hwy 89
    3 PM: Check in at our Elkridge Vacation Home
    3:30 - 5:30 PM: Hike & Explore in Red Canyon or anywhere in the area
    5:30 PM: Dinner served
    6:30 - 9 PM: Games, fire pit outside, star gazing, quiet time, s’mores
