Most of our meals are homemade and home cooked meals made from scratch.  I love to cook and have been involved with preparing meals on most of my trips for several years.

All of our meals are more customized to meet the needs of each person and plenty of food is always available at any time. We work hard to accommodate food preferences i.e. vegetarians, meat eaters, gluten free, etc.

As always a sack lunch is provided each day and also on the day we spend in Reykjavik since we are out walking and exploring much of the city in a small amount of time, however, you may stop and eat anywhere you like on your own dime if you prefer. Take in the cuisine more and the sites less if you prefer. I personally look forward to the Doner Kebabs in Reykjavik before I leave this area, which I would love to introduce you to if you like!

Local yogurt, cheese, fruit and muesli are all daily favorites as well.

We are on the road a lot so sack lunches are made each morning.

Because we stay in two homes for 3 nights each in the country, are kitchens become a major gathering place for not only eating but meal prep. Members are invited to help with some of the chopping however, this is optional.

We purposely stay in beautiful homes where we have fully stocked kitchens. We load up on local groceries from our favorite stores and bakeries and prepare and eat meals common in the Icelandlic culture like Lamb Stew, fish, and more plus a variety of amazing breads and baked goods, plenty of veggies and salads we make every night that are amazing and extremely delicious.

Cold and hot cereal, fruit, eggs, Icelandic breads and pastries, yogurt, juice, etc.  Make it the way you like.

Lunches are made in the morning since we generally don't return to our home until dinner.

Ham, cheese, lettuce, spinach, mayo, mustard, veggies, assorted breads, jam, fruit, etc.
