What a great day, a hard working, productive day in the gardens!!  Thank you SO much to everyone who came out!

We had people here non stop from 11:30 am until 9:30 pm.  Just a few things that we got done:

Black plastic mulch is now on all of the 22 tomatoes at 3300 So. A Garden and part of the tomatoes at the Taylorsville Garden.

I need to buy more black plastic mulch!

We got 33 pepper plants in today at Taylorsville Garden.  This is by far our largest garden!  We have 53 tomatoes and 33 pepper plants in and it doesn't even look like we made a dent!  Amazing!

Over 60 feet of Pole Beans were planted today at the Holladay A Garden.

We weeded a large jungle weed area and with 10 hard working people, the job took us less than 20 minutes to look great!

We planted another 8 rows of beets at the Holladay B garden.  These will be up in 60 days from now.

The peas are getting close to being done. Just another week or so.  Once we see the blossoms we will know we are really close to harvest!

The strawberries all have lots of blossoms on them so I'll let you know when they are ready.
