Garden Update, Sunday, June 5

Sheryl McGlochlin - Sunday, June 05, 2011

Saturday night, Dave, my husband and I got all the furrows made between the peas and the salad greens in the South Jordan A Garden before the irrigation came in this morning.  This garden is SO BEAUTIFUL right now, with all the furrows in and plants growing!  I LOVE it!  It was the first time I've worked in this garden in the evening, with the sun setting and NO wind!!!

It was heaven on earth!  The soil is so beautiful, the plants looked great and the weather so nice and comfortable.

Anytime you want to work in the evening, let me know.

It's one of the best times to work in the gardens.

Earlier in the morning is the perfect time as well.

When the temperatures are in the 80's, that's all we'll be doing is working earlier in the day or the evening hours.

For the next little while it won't get dark until 9 pm!!
