Help us with our Garden Blog...

Sheryl McGlochlin - Sunday, March 20, 2011

This is one VERY valuable way you can help us out in getting valuable seedlings and seeds that we need!  Let me know if you would be willing to help us with this assignment.  Here's how it works:

Mountain Valley Seed Co. in Salt Lake City is looking for novice and experienced gardeners to contribute to its new "Grow With Us" blog.

Gardeners will be able to post stories and photos that show their successes and difficulties. They also can share photos. Mountain Valley hopes the blog will be a good resource for gardeners and create an engaging network of growers.

Those who participate in the blog will receive free seedlings for Big Beef and Yellow Pear tomatoes, Jalapeno peppers, Cimmeron lettuce, Lincoln peas, Black Beauty zucchini, Purple Haze carrot seeds as well as a Mountain Valley Seed Co. hat and shirt.

Here's how to become a Mountain Valley Seed blogger:

1. Visit the blog at www.mountainvalleyseedco.com/blog

2. Subscribe to the blog on the bottom right hand side of the page. As a subscriber, you will receive notifications when new blogs are posted and when others post comments or questions.

3.Write blog posts at least once once a month to ensure that the blog is as timely and informative as possible. Write about any thing you find relevant or you think would be helpful to gardeners of all levels. To submit your monthly blog, please send posts and pictures through by e-mail to blog@mountainvalleyseedco.com.

4. Pick up your seeds, hat and t-shirt at
Mountain Valley Seed Co., 455 West 1700 South, Salt Lake City. Or send your home address to the e-mail above.
