As we approach the end of the summer garden season,
I need help gathering up all of the black disposable dripline hose and the black plastic.
The black plastic mulch is the reason many of our crops did so well this past year, especially the melons, peppers, cucumbers and many of the tomatoes. It kept the soil hotter than it would have been, the weeds to a minimum and provided a clean place for the harvest to sit, without sitting in the soil.
It's found in many of our gardens.
Don't do anything with the dripline or black plastic until you talk to me first so I can tell you how it comes apart and we don't lose any of the valuable connectors.
I need an accounting of how much black plastic we used so don't throw it away.
It will help me know how much we need for next year if we do need to throw it away.
If it is really killed over (the black plastic)
help me measure it before throwing it away.
