Article image: Sunday, Oct. 9: Our 3rd day in a row for harvest distribution! Come and get some food!

This is a sample of the SIZE of a "harvest share" you are invited to pick up.  Specific produce shown in photo may not be currently available.

Due to our NEW Harvest Distribution working so well, I will continue offering this every day (until further notice).

Open daily: 8 am - 7 pm

Holladay location only

Sample of the bagels you'll receive every time you come and get a share of the harvest!

Follow the instructions below.

This is what I have been eating a lot of this summer!  YUM!!

Why I love this New Harvest Distribution System!

Since the weather is cooler, I am able to keep the food in the greenhouse rather than in my home (which my family loves)

It allows members a much more flexible time frame to pick up produce

Since we have a lot of produce, we can hopefully get it out more often, to a lot more families

I don't need to be involved with every food transaction.

NOTE:  If you don't live near the Holladay A Garden, coordinate with other garden members who live near you to pick up your share and theirs OR email me and I'll try to connect you with others in your area so you can receive a harvest share.

  Food available right now:

and more.

Please follow these instructions:

Only garden members are invited to take a share of the harvest.

Garden members are invited to come once a week for a share, unless we don't have enough people coming.  Check with me first if you want to come more than once a week.  I want to give everyone a chance to get food.

RSVP is required before coming.  Contact me via text, email or phone message so I get an idea of how many are coming. 801-278-5313

You don't need to wait for a response from me.

Bring your own containers, bags, etc.

Come to my home, Holladay A Garden, same Holladay Distribution location as always

Enter the backyard, pass the boat and large trailer on the west side of the home.

Don't knock or ring my doorbell. Just go to the back.

In the backyard, follow the CONES to the greenhouse.

The cones end where you enter the greenhouse.

Gently pull back the greenhouse fabric and enter the greenhouse

Sign the clipboard, located just inside the greenhouse.

Select your own produce from the boxes of harvest. I am restocking food daily.

There is a basket sitting next to the clipboard to give you an idea of how much food you may take.

Don't take the basket.  It's just there as a visual.

If possible, take a variety of produce - not just a lot of one item.

Try to stay in the center isle as much as possible.  If you need to step off the main isle, just be careful and know that lettuce seedlings and tomatoes are growing on each side of the dripline.

Do not step on or too close to the dripline.

We are trying hard to grow a fall garden inside the greenhouse right now so you'll have more food in 30 - 60 days from now!

About children in the greenhouse:

I'm sorry the greenhouse is not more "kid-friendly" right now.   If you bring children, please make sure they stay with you in the main center isle.  They can wait outside the greenhouse if necessary while you pick up produce.

Children (or anyone else) are not allowed to handle all the produce.

I want to show children how we grow and care for food in the greenhouse but they are required to obey the same rules as everyone else.

The trampolines near the greenhouse are often a big temptation for children. All trampolines are off limits to everyone, unless you enroll in my trampoline classes.
