Since this is our largest garden, we'll be working as a group EVERY Wednesday evening and Saturday morning on weed control and harvesting.  Help us as often as possible, now through the end of September.

Taylorsville Garden:

6255 So. 1300 W.

Park in the Church parking lot, on 1300 West, across from the garden.

RSVP if you can come OR just show up between 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Lori is supervising and will bring harvest and food for those who RSVP me.

Work as long as you are able.  Weeding is our big focus tonight!

Our crops are coming in strong but so are the weeds in our furrows.

The black plastic that we laid down is doing a great job of weed control around the immediate plant but the irrigation water runs through the furrows to water the plants.  That's where the weeds are coming up.

Bring gloves and a bucket to put weeds in.

The weeds come out fast and easy just by pulling them out by hand, since the garden is irrigated on Monday.
