This unique outdoor adventure in Black Canyon on the Colorado River below Hoover Dam is a combination of primitive camping along the river, swimming, exploring hot springs and water caves, viewing wild life, learning more about the impressive Hoover Dam, hiking and mostly kayaking.

Our 4-day, 3-night adventure trip allows for a more intimate experience on a beautiful, 14-mile section of the Colorado River!

The trip begins at 5 PM near Boulder City, at our campsite. Dinner and relaxing before the next 2 days on the river. This campsite is not far from the Hoover Dam (about an hour from Las Vegas).

The next 2 days are spent kayaking and exploring approx. 14 miles in and around the calm, cool waters of the Colorado River known as Black Canyon.

Water temperature on the river stays at a consistent 55 degree fahrenheit year round since it flows in from the bottom of Lake Mead.

The trip starts and ends at our campground near Boulder City, Nevada next to Lake Mead. It's approx. a 6 - 7-hour drive from Salt Lake City.
