Kayak & SUP - Checklist of what to bring

  • Mess Kit - plate, cup, fork, spoon, knife, bowl

  • First Aid Kit - basic (bandaids, Ibuprofen, etc.)

  • Water bottle

  • Dry clothes to change into

  • Sunscreen

  • Sunglasses

  • Clothes to wear on the water

  • Towel

  • Hat

  • Life Jacket, your own

  • Lip Balm

  • Cell phone

  • Utah State Park Annual Pass or Entrance money (without an annual pass, day pass is $30/vehicle on Saturday. Carpool or buy the Annual Pass!)

  • Light Jacket

  • Insect Repellent (I never used this but bring some just in case)

  • Small cooler with water, snacks, fruit

  • Light or Headlamp

  • Hand Sanitizer

  • Bar of Soap (in case it's empty in the bathroom)

  • Food items to share with the group (individually wrapped items are preferred)

  • Table cloth - For our picnic table. I'll let you know if we need an extra one.

  • Camping Chair - Allows us to spread out a little more when we're on dry group

  • Small Picnic blanket - or sit on the grass with a blanket

  • Yoga Mat - sit on the grass OR on a Stand Up Paddle board

  • Water shoes

  • Camera

  • Carabiners - to clip your shoes to your kayak if you are not wearing them

  • Rope - if we need to tow someone in

  • Sports Umbrella - another way to stay in the shade
