Itinerary: 

Day 1, Monday, August 12
7:30 AM: Leave Salt Lake Valley
10:30 - 11 AM: Shumway Farms for Ice Cream 
1:30 - 2 PM: Arrive at Colter Bay Village (short stops in Afton for famous Chocolate, etc.)
2 - 10 PM: Check into our cabins, explore our community in and around Colter Bay i.e. General Store, Visitors Center in Moran Indian Arts Museum, Marina, Jenny Lake, Visitors Center, go swimming in the lake, play board games in the evening, kayaking in Jenny Lake, easy 1 mile hike around Jenny Lake, Free Time, journal, evening photography opportunities, etc. 
5 - 6 PM: Dinner - Ranch House Restaurant


Day 2, Tuesday, August 13
6:30 - 8 AM: Prepare for the day, breakfast, prepare a sack lunch
8 - 12 Noon: Hike and explore
12 Noon - 1 PM: Lunch
1 - 5 PM: Kayaking and hiking 
5 - 6 PM: Dinner - Ranch House Restaurant
6 - 10 PM: Free Time, Games, explore, journal, evening photography opportunities


Day 3, Wednesday, August 14
6:30 - 8 AM: Prepare for the day, breakfast, prepare a sack lunch
8 - 12 Noon: Hike and explore
12 Noon - 1 PM: Lunch
1 - 5 PM: Kayaking and hiking 
5 - 6 PM: Dinner - Ranch House Restaurant
6 - 10 PM: Free Time, Games, explore, journal, evening photography opportunities


Day 4, Thursday, August 15
6:30 - 8 AM: Prepare for the day, breakfast, prepare a sack lunch
8:30 AM: check out
12 Noon: Arrive at Bear Lake for Raspberry Shake and flats of Raspberries (if they are in season)
1 - 2 PM: Short Hike: Limber Pine Nature Trail
3 PM: Fruit Alley, Brigham City - Buy peaches or anything else in season
4:30 - 5 PM: Arrive back home in Salt Lake

Ranch House Restaurant - 5 to 10 minute walk (For Breakfast & Dinner)
General store - 5 - 15 minute walking distance

Activities include:

Hiking, nature photography, star gazing, historic sights, scenic drives, exploring, boating, kayaking, canoeing, white water and flat water rafting, etc.

Jackson Hole and surrounding areas are full of history.

 

As always, there's room to customize this adventure vacation to your needs and wants. Enjoy organized activities from 8 AM to 5 PM each day or simply relax and take in all the spectacular beauty! 

A short meeting is held after dinner each evening to discuss each the activities for the following day. You may opt in or out of any activities based on how you're feeling that day. 

With fresh, clean air to breathe and plenty to see and do, you definitely won't be bored!

About our cabin style lodging:

Home Base: Colter Bay Village
Located on the NE side of Jackson Lake 

Two cabins (sleeps 6 people each) 
Each cabin has two double beds, one twin bed and room for 2 cots or an air mattress. 
No kitchen in either cabin

Breakfast and Dinner located at the Ranch House, a 5 minute walk from our cabin 
Each cabin has one bathroom 
Laundry facilities are available nearby
Free parking 
Convenience store
